About the Alumni Association

The Alumni Association was organized in 1992 as a way to help keep the reunions going each year and to keep the spirit of Wilbur B. Wildcat alive.  Myrrl Houck, a librarian for many years in the high school, started those reunions and it is our determination to keep them going.  The Myrrl Houck reunion scholarship was started in 1950 and is now a part of Partners in Education (PIE). 

We also want ot preserve the history of EHS and to help with scholarships as well as other worthy causes in our city.  We have helped with the redecoration of the middle school auditorium and landscaping;  the Freedom Memorial on the courthouse lawn; updating of  the high school gymnasium  and now the name of "Alumni Court" has been given to the basketball floor in honor of the many alumni who have helped to raise funds to update that beautiful round house.

Receive the alumni newsletter twice a year by sending your membership dues in the amount of $10/year or a lifetime membership is $250.  Keep up with what is going on in your hometown and your classmates all around the world.

Class of 1970 - 40 Year Reunion June 25-26th 

• June 25th - Evening luau BBQ at El Dorado Lake
• June 26th - Afternoon - bring-your-own-brown-bag social at Forest Park: 
                   Evening -  Dinner and Dance at Prairie Trails Country Club
